Australasian Piano Tuners & Technicians Association (Australia and New Zealand)
The APTTA is an association of piano tuners and technicians in Australia and New Zealand, with the overarching goal of raising the standards of piano tuning and service for the benefit and enjoyment of pianists and all those who enjoy piano music.
Canadian Association of Piano Technicians / Association Canadienne des Accordeurs de Piano
The CAPT/ACAP serves members from all across Canada, and encourages the highest standards of piano service by offering opportunities for continuing education and fellowship in a supportive non-competitive environment.
Piano Technicians Guild (North America)
The PTG operates local chapters within regions spanning the United States, Canada and Mexico, and also offers international membership to piano technicians outside of those areas. Their mission is to promote the highest possible industry standards by providing opportunities for professional development and recognizing and promoting technical competence through examinations and certification.
Pianoforte Tuners’ Association (UK)
The PTA is the largest professional association for piano tuners and technicians in the UK (and an active member of EUROPIANO). They are committed to maintaining the highest standards within the industry. All PTA Members have passed theoretical and practical examinations to prove their ability as qualified tuners or technicians and run their businesses in accordance with the PTA Code of Conduct. They also operate an Apprentice Mentorship program.
Union of European Piano Tuners and Technicians Associations
EUROPIANO is a union of 17 independent national piano tuner and technicians associations. Their chief purpose is to support the professional and commercial interests of piano technicians from across Europe, and to contribute to preserving the cultural value of keyboard instruments and their music. They also offer certification to members whose home country does not have an equivalent process.
